恭敬顶礼元音老人：
现心乱不堪，诚觉末世之危哉！【莘莘学子，正是努力用功读书时，何为心乱不堪？只要无所追求，衷心放教空荡荡的，意闲闲淡淡的，妄念一起就看见它，不跟它跑，即无乱矣。】师几番辛苦告知心性所在，然终不能契会。【只为亲切甚，转令荐得迟。】于法不能悟入，则退失忘却佛法之缘，宛然在矣。【纵然一时不悟，也不会退失，因为它是不动不摇、不生不灭的。】
灌顶一事，徐师以为不必也。【的确，不一定要灌顶。】然我知法难遇。况己力衰微，岂可不假传承之力哉！故将固请之。【你还是青少年，已经力衰了吗？你太悲观了。赶快振作起来，先努力读书，暇时打坐修法，蓄养精力，增加读书的悟性。迨毕业后，再专门修法，为时不晚。你若现在一定要灌顶，可约期于农历四月初八日，假齐志军之手，为你遥灌。】
未到一丝不挂，即难免随它转。现佛法多提倡顺世，诚有弘法之意，然亦有弘非法之意。无有金刚智慧，得至一丝不可得、不可舍，何谈顺世度生？【志诚可嘉！但不可急，只要不懈地与自己执着的习气奋斗下去，终有冰融雪化、妄尽心通之日，只怕心志不坚、见异思迁，则将殆矣。】【心境顿消融，方明色与空。欲识本来面，青山白云中。】
